Version 1.4
- Added an option to filter the list of applications to show CPU architectures that are not Intel or Universal.
- You can double-click on the separator between column headers to automatically resize a column to fit its contents.
- When saving the results of a scan, the architecture of applications is now exported along with the other information.
- Fixed the formatting of exported application information that contains tabs, carriage returns and other special characters.
- Updated terminology such as "preferences" to refer to "settings" when running on macOS Ventura and higher.
- Go64 now correctly reports the developer and website for Akai Professional and Cycling '74 audio apps.
- Fixed user interface layout issues on macOS Ventura.
Version 1.3
- Added counts of Intel and Universal apps.
- Updated the interface to use "Non 64-bit ready" and "64-bit ready" instead of "32-bit" and "64-bit".
- Fixed contextual menus so they operate on the item that's clicked on rather than the selected item(s) when you click on an unselected item.
- Old 32-bit iPhone apps will no longer be shown in Go64's application list.
- Go64 is now localized in German.
Version 1.2
- The CPU architecture of applications is now shown in the application list. This lets you see which of your apps have been upgraded to natively support Apple Silicon.
- Tooltips now show the complete contents of a column so that you can see it even if the column is too narrow to display it completely.
- Go64 now offers to move itself to your Applications folder if you launch it from another location.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when scanning multiple disks that contain the same application.
- Corrected company URLs for iDrive and RealPlayer.
Version 1.1.1
- When selecting multiple apps at once and revealing them in the Finder, Go64 will open as few Finder windows as possible, rather than opening a new window to reveal each application.
- Go64 recognizes when an application contains a 32-bit component but also has a separate, 64-bit counterpart for it. It will not flag these applications as having 32-bit-only components.
Version 1.1
- Added the ability to hide applications in the list if you've decided they don't matter to you.
- Fixed a bug that caused the count of 32- and 64-bit apps to be incorrect when running in French.
Version 1.0.6
- If an application changes while Go64 is open (if you update one after performing a scan, for example), Go64 will re-scan that application and update the information in its display.
- If Go64 is updating itself, the promotional window will not pop up and stop Go64 from finishing the update process.
- Updated some developer URLs, including http://apps.tempel.org and http://www.titanium-software.fr.
- Go64 will now run on macOS 10.10 Yosemite.
Version 1.0.5
- When you add folders to be ignored in Go64's preferences, the numbers of 32-bit, 64-bit, and total applications are correctly updated.
- Really old PowerPC-only applications are no longer listed as 64 bit apps.
- When scanning for all executables, TextMate bundles are now included.
Version 1.0.4
- When displaying both 32-bit and 64-bit applications in its results list, Go64 now highlights 32-bit apps in red. This can make it easier to see whether you already have a newer version that's 64-bit.
- The website URL and developer name have been corrected for a number of apps, including those from Ashlar-Vellum, Avid, Slack, Steinberg and Valve.
Version 1.0.3
- Corrected a bug that could cause Go64 to crash when it encountered an application with incorrect metadata.
Version 1.0.2
- Go64 now has a preferences window where you can add folders that should be excluded from scans.
- Apps and frameworks that don't run on macOS are now skipped (this is primarily of interest to iOS developers).
- When scanning for all executable code, a Kind column is shown in the results so items can be sorted by their type.
- Preference panes are now explicitly scanned. This works around a bug in Spotlight, which doesn't find them when searching for all executable files.
- Corrected a bug which caused Go64 to intermittently fail to reload previous search results after it launched.
Version 1.0.1
- When first launched, Go64 will reload your previous search results rather than starting a new search if the search will take longer than 15 seconds.
- The 'Helpers' and 'Library' folders are now correctly searched if they exist inside an application. This reveals old 32-bit helper executables in Adobe Lightroom 6 and GraphicConverter 9.
- Fixed a bug in which the count of 32-bit and 64-bit apps shown at the bottom of the window could be wrong after using the "Ignore this warning" checkbox for a 64-bit app with embedded 32-bit executables.
- When nothing is selected in the list of applications, a prompt at the bottom now tells you to select an app to see more information about it.
- If your last search before quitting Go64 was "All Disks", that will be selected when you relaunch it, rather than the system disk.
