What's the difference between "purchasing" and "registering"?

They are one and the same thing. By purchasing our software, you become a "registered" user, and receive a registration number from us. When you enter that registration number into the software, it disables any mechanisms that the sotware uses to remind you to pay for it.

Historically, this has been called "registering" in the shareware world, but it involves purchasing a license to use the software, just like you do with any commercial software product.

When will I get my registration code?

eSellerate processes orders when they are submitted and emails a registration code to you within minutes.

Kagi processes orders within 4 hours, and you will be emailed your registration code within 24 hours.

Is my credit card information secure?

You may purchase our software through either of two secure payment processors: eSellerate and Kagi. Both of these online payment systems use industry-standard SSL secure connections to ensure that third parties cannot "eavesdrop" and steal your credit card number.

Fax Orders   Select a product online, print the form from your browser, and fill in your credit card information, then fax your order
Phone Orders   Call (510) 601-5244 with the name of the product and your credit card information ($5 additional fee)
Purchase Orders   Kagi does not handle purchase orders. St. Clair Software will invoice you if you fax a P.O. to us at (540)552-5898 (no additional charge)
Mail/Check Orders   Select a product online, select "check" as your method of payment, print the form from your browser, and then mail the form with your check

Can I pay with non-US currency?

Kagi and eSellerate both accept payments in several foreign currencies, including Euro, Yen, Canadian and Australian Dollars, and Pounds Sterling. Simply go to one of the online stores and proceed through the purchase process. You will be asked which currency you would like to use.
